(Acceptance Criteria: Ref. Section 300 of MORT&H) excavation by mechanical means in all types of strata, in rock by wedging/rock splitting or line drilling using pneumatic equipment and expanding agents, chiselling including dressing to final line, level, grades, cross-section as shown in drawings for roadway, drains, shoulders, median
Applying a single coat primer of bitumen Cationic emulsion only in good weather. Application equipment includes a primer distributor and a self-propelled sprayer. The road surface is cleaned before primer application. The primer is sprayed uniformly over the dry surface. The primed surface is then left to cure for at least 24 hours. methodology for constructing a granular sub base (non-bituminous). It includes preparation of subgrade, equipment requirements such as a crusher and roller, and usage of crushed stone material. The procedure involves layering and compacting the material, checking and adjusting moisture content, and rolling until a specific compaction percentage is reached. Traffic arrangements during construction should comply with MORT&H 112.
